Finger Print Expert
Applicants must be officers from the Central Government, State Government, Universities, recognized Research Institutions, or Public Sector Undertakings:
- Holding similar posts regularly in their department, or
- Having at least 02 years of service in the grade in posts with a Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800, or equivalent; or
- Having at least 03 years of service in the grade after regular appointment in posts with a Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600, or equivalent.
Crime Scene Assistant
Applicants must be officers from the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, or recognized research institutions:
- Holding similar posts regularly in their department, or
- Having at least 05 years of service in the grade after regular appointment in the Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 to Rs.34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200, or equivalent.

Technical Forensic Psychologist
- Must have a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University.
- Must have at least 03 years of experience in applied Psychology or Crime Investigation.
Desirable:
- A Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a recognized University.
- At least 03 years of experience in practicing clinical psychology.
- A M. Phil in clinical Psychology; or PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology; or M. Phil in Forensic Psychology.
Finger Print Expert
- Must have an M.Sc. Degree in any Science Subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science; or a B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
- Must have at least 03 years of experience in a laboratory for developing and identifying fingerprints.
Desirable:
- A Doctorate qualification or a relevant degree in fingerprint examination from a recognized institution.
Crime Scene Assistant
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Physics, or Forensic Science from a recognized university.
- Must have at least 03 years of experience in crime scene processing in relevant organizations.
