The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is looking for qualified candidates for the Consultant position. This role is open to retired Section Officers or Assistant Section Officers from Central Government Ministries or Departments. Applicants must have relevant experience in their field. Selection will be based on a personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the interview. Selected candidates will receive a salary according to the Department of Expenditure guidelines.

Salary
The salary for selected candidates will follow the guidelines from the Department of Expenditure. This includes O.M. No. 3-25/2020-E-IIIA dated 09.12.2020 and any updates from the Department of Personnel and Training.
Tenure
Selected candidates will be engaged for an initial period of one year. This may be extended based on the Ministry’s needs and the candidates’ performance. However, the total engagement cannot exceed five years after reaching the age of superannuation or 65 years, whichever comes first.
Experience Required
Applicants should have experience in administrative matters, procurement procedures, and secretariat functions. Good communication, drafting skills, and computer proficiency are essential. Candidates should also be able to coordinate among different Ministry wings and handle RTI, court cases, and parliamentary issues.
