Accused caused chaos at traffic office and threatened police with job loss.
The Shivajinagar police recently took action against a couple who had put a fake number plate on their bike to avoid paying a traffic fine. When confronted by the police, the couple got into an argument and even threatened them with consequences.
As a result, the police had to take them to the traffic division office, where the couple continued to misbehave. They even went as far as threatening the police officers with being fired from their jobs. Eventually, the police had to arrest them.
The couple is now facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) sections 221, 336(3), 338, 340(2), 351(1), and 3(5) for their wrongful behavior. The incident took place on November 15, and the police have taken appropriate action against the couple for obstructing their duties.
It is important for citizens to abide by traffic laws and cooperate with law enforcement authorities. Trying to deceive or threaten the police will only lead to legal consequences. It is essential to respect the law and work together to maintain a safe and orderly society.
